Credit Card Offers Have Opt-Out Options
Letters promising 0 percent financing and no annual fees pile out of mailboxes every day, but the number of letters hawking new credit card deals can be maddening.
WESH 2's Dave McDaniel took his 16 credit card offers he received in two days of mail to Consumer Credit Counseling Service.
"The financial institutions are soliciting people who have good credit right now," Rick Skaggs of Consumer Credit Counseling Services said.

The Loop Out & About Episode 2
On April 26th, Maine State Credit Union hosted their 3rd annual Walk to Stop Hunger in Maine. This year we had 225 people attend and donate money and canned goods. All proceeds from the event will be distributed to food pantries, banks, and shelters in the Kennebec and Somerset area.
Some stats on hunger in Maine.
10% of all Maine households (141,000 people) suffer from food insecurity.
40% of all kids under 12 show evidence of hunger.

The 1st Annual Crash Your Bike Jam
This was the 5th annual Jump Your Bike Jam in Shreveport, LA. It was supposed to be a good contest, but it rained all weekend and the jumps were soft and slow. So instead of making a video of people struggling just to get through the jumps, I thought this guy crashing a whole lot would be more entertaining. You've got to give him credit though, he wasn't scared and he kept going for it.

International Credit Union Day at Mt. Lehman Credit Union
October 18th at Mt. Lehman Credit Union. This is an annual event for us were we have an all day BBQ rain or shine. Well this year it was rain, typical rainforest weather. But that didn't stop members and friends from coming out. We calculated about 180 people came out to enjoy the food and hospitality. It was great. Here we are just being ourselves.

The decision was made to show this video clip to the 400+ dedicated members who attended the meeting as a "sneak preview" to the name change.
