Anaheim police chief’s gun disappears. Twice.
The first time Anaheim police chief John Welter’s gun went missing was in 2006. It was stolen from his car - along with other stuff - while parked in front of his Anaheim Hills home. Harley-Davidson job cuts mounting, new CEO named
Harley-Davidson Inc. (NYSE:HOG) is still getting squeezed by the economic downturn, even though its weak earnings aren't as bad as in the past two quarters -- beating Wall Street expectations --, the Milwaukee maker of high end motorcycles needs to downsize. This post may sound like heresy to the died-in-the-wool debit card user. However, if you put the same overview on debit cards you do to other investments, you may agree with me. After all, it is YOUR money at risk. I fully realize debit cards have overtaken credit cards as the plastic du-jour for Americans. Homeowners own less of their homes than ever before. OK, strange statement -- but by it I mean that the equity in their houses is at an all-time low, and the "bank ownership" is at an all-time high.
