Police: Debt Collector Stole Identities

Posted on Thursday, 10 of September , 2009 at 4:32 pm NEWSTEAD—An Erie County debt collector is under arrest for allegedly stealing identities through her employment. Hope M. Dunlap, 38, of North Main St., Newstead, has been charged with first degree scheme to defraud and identity theft, both felonies. State Police said they were alerted to suspicious online loan payments by a local Federal Credit Union.
