Rep Jeb Hensarling Defends High Interest Rate Credit Cards
Texas Rep Jeb Hensarling went on Lou Dobbs on May 5, 2008 and made a fool of himself telling Americans that it is absolutely great that credit card companies can start an agreement at 9% and then change it to 40% the next month without warning.
He said this is good for the poor who otherwise couldn't get credit and couldn't have their financial futures destroyed.
